Birth chart questions
Is the birth chart reading free?
Yes. The full chart and the full written reading are free. Enter a birth date and place, and the time if you know it, and the reading is written for that exact chart, section by section.
What do I need to get my birth chart?
You need the date and place of birth, and the time if you know it. The date and place give the signs of the Sun and planets and most aspects. The time adds the rising sign, the Midheaven and the houses, and settles any planet that changed sign that day.
How accurate is a birth chart without a birth time?
A birth chart without a birth time still gives the signs of the Sun and planets and nearly every aspect between them. What it cannot give is the rising sign, the houses and the Midheaven. If the Moon changed sign on your birth day, the reading says so and reads both signs.
Which zodiac and house system does Celestio use?
Celestio uses the tropical zodiac and Placidus houses, the most widely used settings in Western astrology. For births at very high latitudes, where Placidus cannot be drawn, it uses Whole Sign houses and the chart says so.
What does the birth chart reading cover?
The reading covers the whole chart in seven sections: an overview, your Sun, Moon and rising sign together, how you think, how you love, the work that fits you, where you grow, and how to live the chart well. Each one names the placements it is about.
Can I read someone else's birth chart?
Yes. You can enter anyone's birth details: a partner, a friend, a parent or a child. The reading is written about that person, in a way that fits who they are to you.
Can I save and share my reading?
Yes. Save a reading to your account to find it again in My readings. Readings are private until you share them, and a share link opens the reading for whoever you send it to.
